Youth Courses

Entrepreneurship & Leadership

A 13-week real-world course for students in grades 6–12.

Cast Forward Solutions helps students build confidence, communication skills, leadership habits, and real-world business thinking through practical, project-based learning. Students do more than learn about entrepreneurship. They practice solving problems, developing ideas, understanding customers, communicating professionally, and building skills they can use in school, work, business, and life.

Entrepreneurship & Leadership

Cast Forward Solutions presents a project-based Fall 2026 youth course for grades 6–12. Students engage in in-person, hands-on learning tailored to their individual growth.

One Course. One Cohort. Coursework That Meets Students Where They Are.

Grades 6–12

Entrepreneurship & Leadership

A 13-week real-world entrepreneurship and leadership development course for students in grades 6–12.

Two Academic Pathways, One Cohort

All students share the same in-person Fall 2026 Entrepreneurship & Leadership cohort while choosing the pathway that best fits their academic needs.

Learning Continues Beyond the Classroom

Each week, students complete outside learning connected to the current topic through one of two options: OBSERVE a real business, workplace, entrepreneur, or relevant professional setting when appropriate, or RESEARCH a real business, organization, entrepreneur, or business example. Students then apply what they learned, bring observations or insights back to class, and use relevant learning in their Business Builder.

CLASS → OBSERVE OR RESEARCH → APPLY → BUILD → SHARE

The Business Builder

Every student develops their own individual Business Builder project. Throughout the semester, each student designs and refines a business concept, informed by their weekly observation or research work. Students are not required to launch a real business; instead, they focus on understanding how the idea could work, making responsible decisions, and preparing to present their concept at the end of the course.

A Small-Cohort Learning Experience

Fall 2026 is intentionally structured as a small collaborative cohort. Students have more opportunities to participate in discussion, receive instructor feedback, work directly with classmates, engage with guest speakers, and develop their individual projects.

Students remain part of the same classroom cohort while choosing the pathway that best fits their academic needs. The Core Pathway includes shared classroom learning, weekly outside observation or research, application of course concepts, and an individual Business Builder project. The Expanded Academic Pathway includes the same shared classroom experience plus deeper independent research and application, expanded Business Builder expectations, and additional academic or course-hour documentation where appropriate. Families remain responsible for following the requirements of their homeschool program, charter school, district, or other awarding institution. Cast Forward Solutions can provide documentation of course structure, completed work, participation, and learning hours when appropriate. Eligible students, including some 8th graders, may use the Expanded Academic Pathway when appropriate for their academic program.
